Assessor / Trainer – Beauty Therapy

A leading and long established training provider requires a Beauty Therapy Assessor / Trainer within their busy NVQ Beauty Training Centre as part of their continued expansion. Reporting to the Centre Manager, the Trainer / Assessor will be working within the centre area assessing and monitoring and supporting Beauty Therapy learners.
Key Areas of Responsibility
The Assessor Trainer will be expected to be able to work effectively with groups of Beauty Therapy learners based in the Birmingham Training Centre to support the candidates through to completion of their chosen programme within Beauty Therapy Level 2 & 3 qualifications.
Assess individual training programmes for the group and monitor this to ensure that the student is working to the best of their ability with support and recognition
To correctly interpret and assess standards for NVQ Beauty Therapy Qualifications
To train students to ensure they have sufficient competence to successfully complete their training programme
To use appropriate lesson plans for teaching as determined by the Training Manager
To identify and address gaps in achievement and support and mentor where appropriate
To maintain a record of progress and achievement for each student
To give constructive feedback on achievement and performance to students
The Assessor Trainer will require the following :-
-Experience within delivering Beauty Therapy Qualification up to level 2 & ideally 3
-Ideally the Trainer will preferably be A1 D32 / 33 qualified however experienced tutor assessors willing to work towards the qualification will be considered
-Be able to travel daily to the centre in Birmingham and possibly other centres within the group if required
-Possess a self motivated and flexible approach towards the business
-To support and ensure learners complete the NVQ /Key Skills programme
-An ability to empathise and support learners from varying backgrounds and personal circumstances.
-The ability to establish empathy, credibility and authority with the learner groups
-MUST have a hands on and flexible approach to the role
-An ability to multi task and work well within a committed team is essential
-CRB check will be required for the position

Working hours would be 9am-4.30pm Mon – Fri and you will be based working in the companies Birmingham Training centre.
