My 2 bed house in Coventry Warwickshire West Midlands for similar in London N5 or near
I have a 2 double - bedroom house with c. 35 south - facing garden in Coventry, Warwickshire (West Midlands).
Living room is 15 6 x 12 8, kitchen - 8 x 8, bedroom 1 - 12 8 x 8 2 with small built - in wardrobe, bedroom 2 - 12 8 x 7 6 + an extra bit making an L shape! (It also has a small built-in wardrobe). (Measurements are approximate). Bathroom & lavatory are separate. The hallway is quite spacious with a storage cupboard, 2 large storage cupboards on the landing, good storage under the stairs, 2 storage cupboards outside the house, & a shed in the back garden.
Own driveway for 1 car. The house is in a close, so the only traffic is for access to the close, (or people getting lost!) Its about a 10 min walk to the city centre with all its amenities. (Bus stop if required and local shops a few mins walk away). There is a sports centre, with swimming pool, about 6mins walk. There are 2 primary schools & 1 secondary school about 3mins walk, and another secondary school about 15mins walk. Theres also a brand new college & a university no more than 10 mins walk.
Shopping, including Sainsbury, Tesco & an IKEA! (the 1st city centre one, I believe?), is pretty good in the City Centre, which is mostly pedestrianised, and for something extra, Birmingham is easily accessible, either by bus or train. London is about 1hr away by train.
Im looking for something similar in London as I need to be near friends (Im a pensioner and many of my friends are also getting on, so not much time left !) (No parking or schools required). My preferred area is Highbury/Clissold Park, but may consider near offers.
I realise that I may have to make compromises, so may consider one - bedroom properties if the rooms are big. I MUST have my own outside space, even if its just a balcony, as Im a bit claustrophobic!
