Experienced Geotechnical Engineer

My client is a medium sized consultancy of 15 office bases operating as the largest Ground Investigation contractor in the UK.

They are actively looking for an experienced Geotechnical Engineer to join their team due to increased work load.

The role will involve conducting desk studies, contaminated land investigations, carrying out environmental impact assessments, groundwater and gas monitoring, carrying out environmental risk assessments, carrying out phase 1 and 2 site investigations, geotechnical designing and analysis of slope stability. You will also be expected to write up technical reports to a high degree so it is essential you have excellent English skills. You will also be expected to project manage various new and exciting projects.

As the perfect candidate you will have an engineering based degree in Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Environmental Engineering or Civil Engineering. You should have roughly 2-5 YEARS UK EXPERIENCE in a similar role and be technically sound in your knowledge. It will be advantageous if you have full UK driving license and your own transport. It will also help if you have assisted in training Junior staff.
