SQL Support Analyst - Coventry - Our client a Global ICT company are looking for SQL Support Analysts based in Coventry to support for 50+ production and development SQL 2000 and 2005 servers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

*Design, installation and configuration of new SQL instances.
*Live Support for 50+ production and development SQL 2000 and 2005 servers
*Report design and implementation using SQL Server 2005 SSRS (Reporting Services).
*Data transformation and transfer using Server 2000 DTS and SQL 2005 SSIS.
*Design and implementation of backup strategies

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

*Experience supporting SQL Server 2000 and 2005 in clustered and non clustered environments.
*Experience with large databases (+300Gb).
*Advanced T-SQL query writing skills, including query optimisation.
*Management of SQL Server Security.
*Windows server experience.
*Excellent communication and written skills.
*Microsoft Operations Manager 2005 (MOM)
*DB2
