Junior Artworker with Photography and Web Skills
Location: Daventry, Northants
Salary: £13,000 15,000 depending on experience

Contract: Full Time Temporary 6 month contract
OVERVIEW - This is an excellent opportunity to join the Marketing department in a well-established manufacturing company. Reporting directly to our Senior Graphic Designer, we require an experienced junior artworker to produce print and digital materials. In addition to the design work, the successful candidate will be required to take high quality product photographs, assist in the development of the company website, and undertake any additional work to help the marketing team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES This is a varied role and you will be expected to work on multiple tasks simultaneously to tight deadlines.
You will be responsible for the creation and preparation of a wide range of promotional materials including: -
Catalogues
Newsletters
Product packaging
Point-of-sale materials
Instruction leaflets
Exhibition display materials
Web elements
You will be expected to generate high quality artwork with a pixel perfect design ethos to best promote our technically detailed product range.
Excellent attention to detail is vital in this role.
REQUIREMENTS The ideal applicant will have at least 1 years commercial work experience from an in-house design department or design agency and be able to produce a portfolio of high quality work. The candidate must be highly IT literate (PC) and able to quickly learn new applications as required.
Minimum 1 years commercial work experience
Fluent in Adobe CS2 - InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator on PC
Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Access)
Understanding of creating print ready files and PDFs an advantage
Excellent digital photography skills (experience of product photography an advantage)
Ability to create HTML e-mail campaigns
Web design skills a distinct advantage
