An experienced Mortuary Technician is required to work in the Coventry area of the West Midlands. The role will be based in a Mortuary setting alongside a dynamic team of pathologists.

-At least 2+ years Mortuary Experience

Two or more years Mortuary experience is required along with a Diploma in Anatomical Pathology or equivalent. The successful candidate will have solid experience working independently and as part of a team, good communication skills are a must.

Duties of the Mortuary Technician will involve
-Providing assistance to a pathologist when conducting post mortems
-Maintaining the mortuary and post mortem room
-Ensuring equipment and instruments are kept clean, sterile and ready for use
-Taking samples for clinical examination
-Reconstruction of the deceased after the P.M
-Record Keeping, tracking deceased and property
-Ensuring legal documentation is dealt with correctly
-Assist with Home Office, Forensic and Health & Safety
-Work closely with Police, Coroners & Pathologist
