I am selling my beautiful hand crafted diamond solitaire ring, as it no longer fits me since I had children.

Although, the diamond is not flawless (very few are!), it is very sparkly and bright

The ring was commissioned by my partner when we lived in the US. The diamond was bought at a diamond shop and the style of the ring was designed by my partner - I belive the style is called a "modern twist".

The ring is stamped 14 K yellow gold, and is very shiny with no noticeable blemishes/scratches.

The jeweller wrote down the following info for me:

" Solitaire Diamond. Comprising of a single round brilliant cut diamond, in yellow gold. Part open rub-over mount, set between cross-over ribbon shoulders and flat profile shank. 0.25 ct."

Full retail value £600-650, undoubtedly more now that the price of gold has shot up! This quote is over a year old!


I have recently had the ring cleaned, polished, reshped, and the gold around the diamond tightened at Wyman's Jewellers in Leamington Spa.

The ring is a size O. I guess this could be made larger or smaller for a small fee, although I know it is easier to make a ring smaller than larger.

It is a lovely ring and would make an ideal engagement ring or present for a loved one.

It's a shame to see it sitting in my jewellery box, so I would like it to go to as new home whre it will be worn and appreciated.
