Hi,

We're looking for a pianist, a couple of trumpeters and a couple of trombonists to join our Ska Orchestra. Only just coming to fruition, the basic idea is to have a big band line up and play first-wave inspired music. Think along the lines of Jools Holland's more ska-ry numbers, Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra and the Skatalites all mixed together and you'd be somewhere along the right lines. There are 11 of us so far, all with some history of big band playing.

Rehearsals will take place in Leamington on a reasonably casual basis. If you're interested in finding out more, please send an email and I'll get back to you.
