Robert Half Finance & Accounting is currently recruiting for a Financial Accountant to join a large plc business within the FMCG sector based in Coventry. The companys location is commutable from Leicester, Birmingham & Northampton. The business is one of the market leaders in their sector and is a well respected business.

The Role

The role of the Financial Accountant will be reporting to the Head of Finance. You will be supervising a small team and role duties will include managing the financial reporting process for the business units and providing accounting control and integrity for periodic journals and the balance sheet. Delivery of central cost reporting and controls and the preparation of period accounts.The ideal candidate will be qualified in either ACCA or ACA with at least three years post qualified experience. This role would be suitable for someone who is either working in industry already or who is a first time mover from practice. You will have a strong understanding of accounting and reconciliations. You have excellent communication skills and be able to deal with none-finance staff.

Salary & Benefits

£45,000 - £55,000 plus excellent benefits
