Cafe Manager
We are currently looking for a talented Cafe Manager.
Purpose of the Job
To manage and lead the café team to achieve and exceed the standards set out by the company
Main Responsibilities
Timely delivery of the menu offer, consistently to the agreed standards, with attention to detail.
Relationship building with the cafe members and
Effective teamwork and communication with the café team and other departments.
Practise and promote the core values and aims of the Cafe.
Delivering of agreed service and standards for all corporate events and parties.
Processes
Manage the consistent day-to-day operation of the café to the agreed standards.
Effective ordering, storage and rotation of stocks to minimise wastage and maximise profitability.
Effective and efficient rotaring of people in line with business demands.
Preparation of all front of house food service areas and equipment (crockery, cutlery, glassware etc) maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness at all times.
Ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of all back of house preparation & service areas and equipment by working to a cleaning schedule and monthly audits.
Ensure Health & Safety, hygiene regulations and risk assessments are consistently achieved.
All HR procedures are followed including selection and recruitment, induction, training development, coaching and welfare
Work 5 days out of 7 at approximately 40 hours per week or as required to achieve the job.
