We are looking for a Qualified Social Worker with experience in children & families and child protection. You will be responsible for the implementation and co-ordination of complex assessments and the purchase of agreed packages of care. You are responsible for the provision of casework and other social work services to improve outcomes for children and young people.

Candidates must have:
-Full social work qualification
-Current CRB issued within the last 12 months
-Knowledge of relevant legislation, NHS and Community Care Act, Mental Health Act, CSDPA, Disabled Persons Act, Children Act and Carers Act with awareness of statutory guidelines
-Good understanding of the Common Assessment Framework and developing strategies to meet care needs
-Experience of managing a caseload
-Experience of producing reports for a variety of audiences
-Strong negotiating and influencing skills
