VOLUNTEERS REQUIRED
1:EBAY:
• Identify items from donated stock that are suitable for sale online
• Identify potential high value items for sale at auction or online
• Photographing donations and entering accurate descriptions.in
online sales
• Dealing with customer queries
• Packing and posting items after sale in a timely manner
2: BOOK DEPARTMENT:
• Sorting books in order to maximise the income the shop can
make
• Sorting books in line with the standards required for the shop
• Cleaning and preparing books for sale in the shop
• Identifying collectible books to be sold online or for a higher price
(training given)
3: WOMAN DEPARTMENT:
• Sorting and pricing donated clothing suitable for sale.
• Steaming clothes ready for sales floor.
• Identify high value clothing for management attention.
• Display in shop/replenish as required following guidelines.
• Follow re-cycling procedures as directed.
4: SATURDAY/SUNDAY SALES STAFF:
• Customer service, greeting and serving customers in a polite and
friendly manner
• Stocking shelves in the shop.
• The role may include sorting incoming donations of books.
• Cashing up (after training is given)
Commitment: 4 hour shifts a week
