Core responsibilities and Key activities

Supervise staff labour and control plant costs both internally and external.
Ensure work is undertaken to the highest possible standard and in a safe environment
Program preparation and resource requirements in conjunction with contracts manager
Cost control of labour and plant to maximise profitability.
Liaison and organisation of sub contractors.
Liaison with Q.S department to carry out formulation of weekly costing sheets
Create and control effecient filing system of ongoing contracts
To promote and encourage development of staff under your control.

Supplimentary Responsibilities and activities

Produce accurate timesheets for Labour payments
Maintain Records of sub contractors measure and timesheets for approval of payment with Q.S department in conjunction with the contracts manager
Assist with costing on practical side of tender information
