This is the classic 'ORIENT EXPRESS' brass table lamp!

The lamp is in really excellent condition as can be seen in the photo. I can email more photos if required.

The lamp has a shaped glass flute inner globe, and the famous adjustable brass outer shade. This can be adjusted to give intimate dinner or desk lighting, as used for the dinner tables and reading tables on the ORIENT EXPRESS. The lighting can be smoothly adjusted to give wide open room lighting.

The lamp uses the standard BC type electric bulbs up to 60W, and has a gold coloured electric flex, with an in-line switch. The lamp can use various styles of LOW POWER bulbs (including the candle types) and a low power bulb is supplied so that it can be plugged in and used immediately!
Note that the bulb may not necessarily be seen, depending on the shade position, allowing modern low power bulbs to be used in a traditional setting.

The lamp has the distinctive ORIENT EXPRESS PLAQUE on the brass stem.

Since the inner globe is glass, it is preferred if the lamp can be collected, but it can be packaged and posted if required. Postal risk and insurance is the responsibility of the buyer.

These lamps are solidly constructed and functional, yet have a very appealing art deco design, and make ideal table, desk, or ornamental lamps, and suit practically any decor.

This sale is for one lamp, but I have two available to use as a matching pair if required. Please let me know if you would like both lamps, I will reserve the second lamp for the buyer if required.
