A not for profit organisation is publicising its new Virtual Town with a competition to win a plot of land in the Highlands and become a Lord or Lady! It’s free to enter and the winner gets special privileges such as country club membership, fishing rights.

This is run by a not for profit organisation - the site’s pretty good too, well worth a look! See www.candoon.org to enter

Here’s what they say about it:

The lucky winner of this simple, free to enter competition is going to win a plot of land on a Country Estate in the Scottish Highlands and in doing so will obtain the legal right, as a Landowner under Scottish Law to use the title Lord, Laird or Lady (Laird is the Scottish equivalent of Lord).

If you're the winner, you'll get year-round access rights to your plot of land plus year-round fishing rights to one of Scotland's best trout and salmon rivers, set amidst beautiful scenery and the opprotunity of becoming a member of a fantastic country club, where you can stay and dine when you visit your plot.

Additionally, the land - and the Lord/Laird/Lady title - can be passed on to your children or grandchildren.

All you have to do to win this unique prize is find where our cartoon Dog "Spot" is hiding in Candoon Virtual Town. The winner will be drawn from correct entries received by the closing date, 15th May 2008.
