Date posted: Friday 16th May
Location: Leamington Spa

I have a variety of guitar gear for sale. I live in Leamington so if anyone wants anything it should be fairly easy to collect/for me to deliver.

BBE Sonic Maximiser Stomp Pedal

- Second hand, but hardly used. No surface wear and full working condition.
- Comes with power supply, the original box and instruction manual.
- New stomp version of traditionally rack-mounted classic piece of guitar gear.
-£50

WHAT THE EXPERTS SAY

Guitarists and bassists are demanding a foot pedal version of the legendary BBE Sonic Maximizer and the wait is finally over. Many musicians do not have a spot for the rack mount unit, but longed for the legendary clarity, definition, and punch that only a Sonic Maximizer can provide. BBE took heed and carefully designed the Sonic Stomp foot pedal which delivers the same sonic improvement as their popular 482i Sonic Maximizer. Other features include hard-wired bypass, non-slip rubber bottom, easy-access 9v battery compartment and included external power supply.

WHAT DOES IT DO?

The BBE Sonic Maximizer quite simply adds definition and clarity to your guitar tone. It can be used to refine the top or low end of your sound as it has an eq setting. To describe it in simple technical terms it reorders the way in which the frequencies of sound from your guitar are processed by the amp and speakers to make it more pleasing to the ear and alleviate the phasing issues that all guitar sounds suffer from to a greater or lesser extent.

Hughes and Kettner Attax Series Tour Reverb combo

-Solid State
-100 Watt
-Rock Driver Pro 100 12 inch speaker built for Hughes and Kettner
-Clean, crunch, overdrive and reverb
-Electrics recently resoldered so sounds as good as ever
-Few bashes and scratches but nothing major
-Made for Japanese electricity supply but comes with transformer (the only drawback is that, although small, the transformer is pretty heavy if you're carrying it around a lot)
-£150

This is a really good amp for the price. Its powerful enough to use on stage but also serves as an awesome practice amp (good thing about solid state amps). Its got a cool 'voicing' knob that gives you a lot of tonal flexibility too. Here's some user reviews, take them with a pinch of salt, but they might give you some idea of the amps tone. I'd sell it for £150.

2 x FANE 12-100 TC Classic speakers

-8 ohms
-100 watts
-12 inch
-2 x £30 = £60

I dont have much more information on these. I got them as part of a set of four in a customized 4x12 Marshall cab that I bought off Ya. I really like the tone of these speakers - they have a nice break up on the top end if you drive them hard with some powerful pick-ups and amp. I found they were a bit lacking in low end so I replaced two of them with some Eminence Swamp Thang. The two now work really nicely together to get full range of frequencies.

They must be quite rare coz I can find no reviews of them online. All I would say is buy them off me, have some fun soldering them into your cab, and if you dont like them I'll buy them back off you.

Boss PSA-240 AC Adaptor plus daisy chain - SOLD

-standard Boss AC Adaptor for your pedals (not just boss ones necessarily)
-200 mA output at 9 volts
-daisy chain with 8 'daisies'
-£10

I used this to power four pedals, any more than that then you'll get some fairly bad noise issues. I quite like noise though. Have it for a tenner.

Boss MD-2 Mega Distortion Pedal

-It's a distortion pedal for metal/rock, simple as that
-The bottom end on this is huge, think its designed so that it can be used with seven string guitars. Ive been using it for some of the doomy noisy bits in our music but since I bought a new guitar it's not doing much any more.
-It's got a two band eq, a gain boost and a fuzzy distortion knob.
-£25
