Robert Half Finance & Accounting is currently recruiting for Senior Finance Analyst to join a large plc business within the FMCG sector based in Coventry. The companys location is commutable from Leicester, Birmingham & Northampton. The business is one of the market leaders in their sector and is a well respected business.

The Role

The role of the Senior Finance Analyst will be reporting to the Financial Controller and will involve the supervision of a small team. Role duties will include - providing timely, relevant and accurate weekly and periodic reporting to the business, ensuring that it is meets users needs. Providing financial challenge, support and analysis to the trading divisions in order to maximise profitable sales growth and gross profit. Developing a greater understanding of the components affecting margin and how these can be better controlled and reported. The role will be supporting the development plans of the business unit by providing analysis on promotional activities and key events. The ideal candidate will be a qualified individual in either ACCA / CIMA / ACA. You will have experience of working within a large PLC business that is customer focused. You will be have excellent communication skills, with ability to converse with non-finance colleagues, excellent knowledge of Excel, the ability to interpret complex performance data and suggest and validate variance analysis and management interpretation.

Salary & Benefits

£45,000 - £55,000 + great benefits
